Why train with Joy Birth

With seven years of supporting families through birth and postpartum care—and two years as a certified birth trainer—I’ve learned one thing with certainty: birth is only the beginning of the journey. Through compassionate, culturally responsive, evidence-based care, postpartum doulas can help families build the confidence, connection, and “village” they need to thrive. Postpartum doesn’t simply end at six or twelve weeks—the transition into parenthood can shape a family for years. Train with Joy Birth and learn how to provide care that goes beyond the postpartum period, empowering stronger families, healthier communities, and lasting support systems.

  • Step into your first postpartum shifts with clarity, not guesswork
  • Practice with real families with mentorship — not alone after a weekend workshop
  • Leave with tools, templates, and a professional foundation you can use immediately
  • Recoup your training fee with 1–2 clients
